Show info | I plan to do a mix of groove based genres, with a focus on hip hop, reggae, funk, Afrobeat and soul. I will mix in songs of other genres if they have enough groove. Hip Hop is the genre I follow the most, so I will probably introduce some new hip hop songs I'm excited about (or old ones that I've just discovered) every week. I also plan to use the WMUA library to discover new music in the funk, reggae, world, jazz and soul genres that will fit on my show. The rest of the time will be filled with tracks from each of these genres that I feel do not get enough recognition and should be heard. And of course I'll sprinkle in some classics here and there. |
